What is Blindrop?
Blindrop is a blind dating app. Once a day it pairs you with one real person for a short, timed conversation by text, voice call or blurred video. You can't see each other's photos or names. When time is up, you both privately choose Reveal or Pass, and profiles unlock only if you both choose Reveal.
Is Blindrop free?
Yes. Joining the daily Drop and talking to your match is free. Optional coins and subscriptions add extras such as more call time and extra features.
How does the video call stay anonymous?
Video Drops are real live calls with your camera on, but each person's video is heavily blurred on the other person's screen until you both choose Reveal.
Is Blindrop safe?
Blindrop is for adults 18 and over. Messages in a Drop are screened by automated moderation, you can report or block anyone with one tap, users can earn a selfie-verified badge, and your name and photos stay hidden unless you both reveal or become friends. Read our Child Safety Standards.
What happens to the chat if we don't both reveal?
If either person passes, the conversation ends and its messages are automatically deleted 24 hours after the Drop. Chats that were reported are kept for safety review.
Where is Blindrop available?
Blindrop is available on Android through Google Play and is launching city by city in India. You are matched with people in your city, or nationwide when your city is still filling up.
How do I delete my Blindrop account?
Open Settings in the app and tap Delete Account, or email support@blindrop.app. Full details are on the account deletion page.
